We recommend Imer Vertical Shaft Mixers for the mixing of high performance concrete. The intense shearing action that occurs as the paddles work through the mix results in a more homogenous mix (no more lumps!) than possible with barrel type mixers resulting in higher early and ultimate strengths.

Concrete strengths of 10,000 PSI can be attained using locally available material batched in Imer Vertical Shaft Mixers. Your cost per cubic foot of concrete will be about $7.50 or about $1.00 / sq. ft. of countertop 1.5" thick for 10,000 PSI concrete, try that with a bagged mixed.

When you purchase an Imer Vertical Shaft Mixer from us we will provide mix design spreadsheets (MS Excel and some knowledge of MS Excel required as well as a basic knowledge of concrete proportioning).
